The goal of this model and conceptual design was to experiment with nesting irregular spaces inside of a semi-regular floor plate grid. The curvalinear forms represent public gathering spaces which break the formal language and drastically change the experience for users. Some of the irregular forms lend themsleves to a traditional lecture model with seating, while others use a similar dip in the floor to allow for casual gathering. The curvalinear spaces are intended to be objects arrayed into the grid of the building. The conceptual program of this space is an academic university building, where the irregular spaces are spaces of VR simulation, student gathering, or digital projection. The use of large curved surfaces was intentional in order to create large spaces that lend themselves to being canvases for projected images, which would further alter the perception of these spaces and would be ever-changing
